About Boulder
Here are some useful links and interesting activities to help you make the most out of your stay in Boulder. Two things we want to stress:
- Boulder is as green as they come: don’t get a car! Public transportation options abound, including a fantastic bike share program. The Holiday Inn is on the SKIP bus line, which directly serves the UMC. Millennium Hotel is located right on the Boulder Creek Path, a scenic trail system to major shopping, dining, University, and sightseeing locations. The town is small enough you can walk almost anywhere with our pleasant June weather.
- We are high & dry (weather-like, that is)! Boulder sits at 5,430 feet (1655 meters) above sea level, and the climate is semi-arid and typically quite sunny. Bring sunscreen, chapstick, moisturizing lotion, and take it easy.
